My Role in Testing GAMS

As a Software QA Engineer, I was responsible for performing System Testing on GAMS to ensure its smooth functionality and reliability across various scenarios. My testing approach ensured that the system met the high standards required for effective asset management.

System Testing

I conducted thorough system-level testing on GAMS to validate the complete functionality of the platform as a whole. This included:

• End-to-End Testing: I validated the full workflow of asset management, from asset creation and tracking to reporting, ensuring all components worked seamlessly together.
• Data Integrity Testing: I verified the accuracy of asset information, ensuring data consistency between asset creation, updates, and reporting, with particular attention to ensuring that no data was lost during real-time tracking updates.
• Security Testing: Ensuring that user roles and permissions were functioning correctly, I validated that only authorized users had access to sensitive asset data.
• Usability Testing: I tested the user interface to ensure that it was intuitive and user-friendly, providing valuable feedback for improving the overall user experience.
• Integration Testing: I tested the integration of GAMS with external systems, verifying that the system successfully communicated with third-party platforms and ensured seamless asset data transfer.
• Performance Testing: I evaluated system responsiveness under varying loads, ensuring that GAMS could handle high volumes of assets without performance degradation or slowdowns.

Through this comprehensive system testing, I ensured that GAMS delivered reliable, secure, and efficient asset management solutions, contributing to its readiness for market deployment.
